ZenSip Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the ZenSip mobile app ("ZenSip", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ZenSip you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account. ZenSip creates an anonymous, device-based account for you. We do not require an email address or password to use the app.
- Profile & preferences you provide. During onboarding you may share a name, age range, gender, wellness goals, taste preferences, ingredients or allergens to avoid, and your current drink habits.
- Your activity. Drinks you log ("check-ins"), mood entries and notes, pantry items, favorites, streaks, and the personalized weekly plans generated for you.
- Purchases. Your subscription status and related transaction details, processed through RevenueCat and Apple. We never receive your full card or payment credentials.
- Analytics & attribution. App usage events and install/attribution data via Adjust and Scate, and device identifiers (including the advertising identifier, only with your permission — see Tracking below).
- Technical data. Device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic information.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, or health-app (HealthKit) data.
2. How we use your information
- To build and personalize your drink recommendations and plans.
- To operate core features (check-ins, progress, pantry, reminders).
- To process and manage subscriptions.
- To measure marketing performance and improve the app.
3. AI processing
To create your personalized plans, a limited set of your preferences (such as goals and tastes) is processed by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) through our secure backend. This is used only to match recipes and does not include payment data.
4. Service providers we share with
We share data only with providers that help us run the app, under their own privacy terms:
- Supabase — backend, database, and authentication.
- Anthropic — AI plan generation.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Adjust and Scate — analytics and attribution.
- Apple — payments and, with your consent, tracking (App Tracking Transparency).
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Tracking & advertising
With your permission (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), we use your advertising identifier to measure how our ads perform. You can decline, and you can change this any time in your device Settings. ZenSip works fully whether or not you allow tracking.
6. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your profile, plans, pantry, check-ins, and related records. You may also contact us to request deletion.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Children
ZenSip is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
